This exclusive multifamily development project by EMD Construction is located in Montreal’s Westmount neighbourhood. The eight highest floors of the 38-storey building will feature luxury units while the lower levels will house the building’s commercial spaces.
Our task
ORAM was contracted to install the following plumbing networks and systems:
- Sanitary drainage system
- Rainwater drainage system
- Domestic water piping
- Natural gas piping
- Mixed water system
ORAM Expertise
By leveraging our management experience and expertise, we optimized the equipment and design for the mixed water system:
- Coordinated (BIM) the mixed water system with the HVAC/automatic control subcontractor
- Integrated automated remote shut-off valves for the domestic water system in case of leaks
- Accounted for anticipated thermal expansion of all pipes given the height of the building
- Coordinated the customization of the luxury units on the top floors
