For this project, we were contracted to complete all the plumbing work to put in a neighbourhood supermarket on the ground floor of the phase 2 building of the multifamily Quartier Jean-Nicolet building project, which we completed between 2019 and 2021 with our partner CONSTRUGEP.
Our task
ORAM was contracted to install the following plumbing systems:
- Sanitary drainage system
- Rainwater drainage system
- Domestic water piping
- Natural gas piping
ORAM Expertise
Our expertise allowed us to overcome the challenges involved in putting in a commercial space on the ground floor of a multifamily building (mix-used project):
- Coordinated the design and construction of the main drainage lines for the grocery store as well as the multifamily project.
- Coordinated putting the plumbing through the structural concrete slab on the ground floor rather than through a slab-on-ground that would typically be used for a grocery store.
