This second Devtod development is steps from the Cartier metro station in Laval. The building will have 182 rental condos and is considered a Transit Oriented Development (TOD), which seeks to create communities near public transportation infrastructure. Building residents will not need to own a car to live there.
Our task
ORAM was contracted to install the following plumbing systems:
- Sanitary drainage system
- Rainwater drainage system (retention pond)
- Domestic water piping
- Natural gas piping (basement heating, domestic hot water, generator, and air handling unit)
ORAM Expertise
We leveraged our extensive expertise to help Devtod in several areas at various stages of its project, including:
- Participating in discussions about the rainwater drainage system and retention pond
- Providing rainwater management solutions, including the many roof drains and the subterranean network design
- Optimizing the rainwater system by combining two submersible pump systems
